Miguel A. Serrano's broad and diverse legal background includes work as a trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, where he was engaged in complex commercial litigation, and experience as a criminal prosecutor having conducted nearly one hundred trials.  In addition, Miguel served as a senior advisor to several prominent officials with the United States Department of State, the United States Merit Systems Protection Board, and the U.S. Congress.

Miguel is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Florida Bar, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  He is also a member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the Hispanic Bar Association of D.C. 

Miguel received an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1986 and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts in 1992.
